Group Meditations

I am now hosting group meditations 3 times a month.

Below is a summary of what each is intended for, and at the bottom of the page is the Group Meditation schedule for the rest of 2010.

As of now, there is nothing to sign up for.  To participate, simply make time in your schedule at the predetermined time.  Create a sacred space for yourself and be in it and ready to meditate.

My meditation lasts 15 minutes.  If you’d like to continue to meditate after the first 15 minutes, of course you may feel free.  I just have a personal preference of 15 minute meditations.

Energy is a beautiful thing though.  If you reach out with intention, and seek the group energy, it will find you.  Even before and after the meditation itself.  As soon as you decide to participate, you join some of your energy with the group.  As we all know, intention is everything.

Everyone may participate however they chose.  Sit and meditate with music, in the quiet, do a full blown ritual.  It’s completely up to you.  The point is that we’re all doing it at the same time and INTENDING to combine energy for the greater good.  That is where the magick is :)

* New Moon Intention Setting Meditation *

Once you decide upon an intention for the cycle, use the power of the increased energy of the group to solidify your will and to put out into Creation the “nutshell” of that which you want to create.  Set the wheels of serendipity in motion.

* Full Moon Abundance Meditation *

The Full Moon marks a time of the full power.  The tides are high.  The energy is virtually crackling in the air.  Ask anyone who works with people; they’ll tell you that the “loonies” come out around the Full Moon.  Aka, the Lunatics.

Take advantage of the increased energy of the group to give your intentions a final sendoff into the Universe, solidifying your commitment to the intended growth.  I like to also spend a little time just basking in gratitude for what I have already in my life and for all the signs and synchronicities I’ve been given to show me that my intention is changing my surroundings already.

This meditation is about increase at full steam ahead!

* Third Quarter Banishing Meditation *

I don’t really like the word “banish” because it seems so negative.  You’re removing the unwanted.  Pushing against.  That’s okay though, because when I say banish, everyone knows the basics of the purpose of this meditation.

This meditation is geared more toward acceptance and allowing than pushing against though.  If you want something to do what you want it to, love it.

Find a quiet space and clear your mind.  Take a moment to be connected to Spirit and then do the following exercise.

Whatever you’re wanting to move on out of your experience…. list 5 things about it that are good.  Be real.  Really see it (them?) from a different perspective.  See them like you know their mother must.   Or see its attributes.  Make it an actual list on paper.

Reach out to the group energy and bask in the light for a few moments.  Then, tearing the paper to shreds (not viciously.. calmly and slowly)  purposefully release X to be as it is and thank it for being part of your experience.

Then release all thoughts regarding X and join the group energy and just breath for a while.  Going into a meditative state before setting and after releasing intention really makes a difference.
